CPCU April Meeting/ volunteer opportunity

A Big “Thank You” to CWG and to Rock County Sheriff Evan Verbrugge for sponsoring and speaking at our March meeting.

April is National Volunteer month and the week of April 12-17 is national volunteer week. The Sioux Empire Chapter will be serving an evening meal at the Avera Ronald McDonald house on Tuesday April 12^th.  The meal will be prepared for any families that are staying at the house while their love one is getting medical care at the Avera campus.  We will need to plan for about 20-25 people.

Our meal will need to be prepared by 6-6:30 ish and the majority of the house guest come and go, depending on appointments and what works with their schedules.  Please plan on arriving at the Avera Walsh Family Village house located at 1612 S 7^th Ave Sioux Falls, SD, between 4-4:30pm (this will give us adequate time to prepare the meal).  The house is located on the Avera campus, just to the south of the hospital.  I will do the shopping for the meal and will have everything at the house ready to go on the 12^th.
