CPCU Member Keynote Speaker for Veteran's Day Program
Karl Hernes, Esurance & newly elected Chapter Secretary, is going to be the keynote speaker at the Veterans Day Program at Lincoln High School-Sioux Falls, SD next Tues, Nov 11th. Karl is a retired Navy Seal & will talk about some of his experiences, plus the importance of supporting veterans’ charities. It is open to the public & you are welcome to attend.
In regard to veterans’ charities, Karl is going to participate in the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim in Jan/15. He will swim 5K or 3.1 miles across Tampa Bay. 100% of the proceeds from the Swim will be donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation (www.navysealfoundation.org ), a four star rated charity with Charity Navigator. The organization's mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
